Practitioners Training Course

Professionals and Specialists in Healthcare, Learning Disabilities, Special Education Needs and Teaching currently work with the Raviv Method, as do private practitioners, psychologists and therapists from a range of disciplines. You do not need any former experience with education, learning disabilities or ADD. All you need is an interest in therapy or teaching. Indeed, the Raviv Method is well-suited for many parents of children with learning difficulties, who choose to train in this method.

Practicing in Different Contexts

Whether you are an individual interested in working in private practice, a clinic, a school, or another type of organization, the Raviv Method can suit you. The Raviv Method can be practiced entirely on its own and it is very practical and hands-on.

Ways of Using the Method

You can use the method to work with children and adults with learning difficulties and attention disorders, or with young children on specific pre-school learning preparation. In its wider application, the Raviv Method can be used to further develop cognitive skills (such as memory, time management and organizational skills). Practitioners can also go on to work with clients recovering from trauma to the brain.

Personal Benefits

Whilst the primary reason for training is to work with individuals with learning and attention difficulties, most attendees find that the course has a personal impact on their own cognitive abilities. Trainees have reported in particular, that the exercises have helped reduce stress levels and improve short-term memory.

For Organizations

As the Raviv Method has become more widely known, we have assisted an increasing number of Special Education units in evaluating its potential.

Currently, one UK Special Educational Needs unit has been trained in the method. Following the establishment of a dedicated new Learning Centre (at St. Joseph's RC High School) based on the Raviv Method; the entire Newport team was trained in the Raviv Method.

We provide special training courses for organizations that wish to train a significant number of individuals in the Raviv Method. These programs are specially tailored and will be given at the venue of your choice. The cost of such programs varies, and will be decided for each case individually. These special programs are more cost-effective than reserving multiple seats in a public program.
